Darkroom Photography

This is a single trimester entry level photography class that is meant to teach students the basics of photography. We will use 35mm SLR film cameras with black and white film. Students will learn the developing process for film and paper. A major focus in this class is learning about composition. We also spend time learning about professional photographers and their techniques.

Gallery Walk

After each assignment the entire class hangs their project and we take a class period to view the work, talk about the work as a class and then choose a piece to write about.
